So here are some brief video snippets that are uncut, unprofessional, and maybe even little unclear.  Nonetheless, as we are putting more of our energy to update the website, and edit interviews and blogs, we wanted to let you in on some of our brief happenings.  So warning: don’t expect much, and watch out for the wind and bumps as we travel to the west.

FARMTECH, CHICAGO, IL(two clips)
First clip is short and of Andy and me in the model tractor exhibit. Second clip gives you their promo on farm technology. Though I would have preferred the museum to be biased, I changed my tune when I learned that cows really did like to get milked by robotic hands and that large scale GMO’d, monoculture farming seemed to be the sure answer, and all of this to a faux Aaron Copland music piece that made me want to suck on straw all day, and click my heels while I would tell secrets to the comfortable pigs in their tiny little cages.

SMARTGREENHOME, CHICAGO, IL
This is where we visited the Smarthome.  Ironically, the smartest green home in Chicago is located in a museum.  Is there really hope?  Nonetheless, they offered some great ideas, such as using recycled glass from bottles for their bathroom tiles and the cistern underneath the house that collects the leftover runoff that isn’t absorbed through the rooftop garden and permeable pathways. And very chic.  I’m a fan of the design.
